New paper on Tafel slope analysis for the OER

We have a new paper in Electrochemistry Communications on interpreting Tafel slopes for the oxygen evolution reaction. Using a full kinetic steady-state model rather than the commonly used quasi-equilibrium assumption, we show that the quasi-equilibrium approach misses certain Tafel regions that are experimentally observed on IrO2 and RuO2 anodes. A useful methodological note for anyone using Tafel analysis to probe OER mechanisms.
