Congratulations to Alex Heenan and Johan Hamonnet on their viewpoint paper in ACS Energy Letters. The paper makes the case that sloppy iR compensation and inconsistent reporting of electrode potentials are causing serious reproducibility issues across the CO2 reduction literature. It’s a timely and important contribution — highly recommended reading for anyone doing CO2 electroreduction measurements. Well done both!
