Laura Titheridge started her PhD project with a paper in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy! Laura built a techno-economic model for anion exchange membrane (AEM) water electrolysis systems, identifying an optimal current density of around 1.4 A cm⁻² that minimises the levelised cost of hydrogen, and pinpointing the technology gaps most in need of attention. A timely and practically useful contribution as AEM electrolysis moves toward commercialisation. Well done Laura!
