Thermodynamic phase relations for selective metal reduction by molten oxide electrolysis

Kathryn Ford has a new paper in ChemElectroChem examining phase relations in molten oxide systems relevant to molten oxide electrolysis. The work maps electrochemical operating windows for the selective reduction of specific metals from mixed oxide melts — an important step towards using MOE for technology-critical metal production. Great to continue collaborating with Matt Watson and Catherine Bishop on MOE.
